Campania Region launches vouchers for free sports for minors: up to €400 for families in need.

The Campania Region has officially published a notice to families regarding the provision of sports vouchers for minors aged 6 to 15 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The initiative, announced by Sports Councilor Fiorella Zabatta, aims to provide free access to sports activities to young people from families experiencing financial hardship.

The maximum voucher amount is €400 for each minor, which will cover the costs of registration and participation in sports activities offered by the participating associations and sports clubs. Interested families can consult the complete application process on the ARUS website, which outlines the requirements, participation procedures, and application deadlines.

The ranking for voucher allocation will be drawn up based on the family's Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE): families with an ISEE of up to €17 for families with up to three children, and up to €28 for families with four or more children, will be eligible. Children with disabilities, those who did not receive the grant in the previous round, and, in the event of a tie, the chronological order of application will be given priority.

Councilor Zabatta emphasized how this measure represents a significant investment in the well-being, growth, and social inclusion of young people in Campania, reiterating the Region's commitment to supporting the most vulnerable families and enhancing the educational and social role of local sports associations. The goal is clear: no child or youth should have to give up sports for financial reasons.
