From 14 December 2026, Wizz Air will inaugurate a daily flight between Naples and Valencia, strengthening ties between Italy and Spain with competitive fares and an ever-expanding flight offering.

Wizz Air launches new route from Naples
Wizz Air and Gesac announce important news for travelers in Campania: starting December 14, 2026, a new daily route will be operating between Naples and Valencia. The airline, Italy's second-largest airline by market share, is thus expanding its network, strengthening connections between Italy and Spain, two strategic markets for the carrier. The new route will depart from Naples with daily flights aboard Airbus A321neo aircraft, modern aircraft that guarantee comfort, efficiency, and lower emissions.
The introduction of the route is part of Wizz Air's broader growth plan in Naples, where the airline currently offers 24 routes to 13 countries and plans to base a third aircraft by the end of the year. In the first half of 2026, the airline recorded a 78% increase in flights from Naples compared to the previous year, carrying a total of 6,8 million passengers since 2004.
The Naples-Valencia flight represents an opportunity for both leisure travelers, attracted by the Spanish city's rich cultural and seaside offerings, and business and personal travelers. Tickets are already on sale on the Wizz Air website and app, starting from €29,99.
This new route joins other Spanish destinations that Wizz Air will operate from Naples Airport starting December 14, 2026, including Barcelona (with daily flights), Madrid (four weekly flights), and Bilbao (three weekly flights). This strategy consolidates Wizz Air's position as the third largest airline in Naples by market share, with continued growth in capacity.
Margherita Chiaramonte, Commercial Director Aviation at Gesac, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, which responds to growing demand between Naples and Spain, while Salvatore Gabriele Imperiale of Wizz Air highlighted the company's commitment to providing new international travel opportunities to Italian passengers.
Domestically, Wizz Air continues to expand with 319 routes to 33 countries and 100 destinations, offering over 20 million seats by summer 2026, a 43,6% increase compared to the previous year. With 44 aircraft based in Italy and over 57.000 flights operated in 2026, the airline maintains steady growth in the Italian market, where it has carried a total of 137 million passengers since 2004.
