Naples: 34-year-old arrested for snatching during centennial celebrations

During the celebrations for the centenary of the Naples football team, the Police Headquarters intensified checks to ensure public safety.

Last night, officers from the Secondigliano Police Station arrested a 34-year-old man with a criminal record, caught red-handed while attempting to flee after ripping a gold bracelet from a person's wrist on Via Caracciolo, at the corner of Via Dohrn.

Some fans, witnesses of the incident, chased the thief and called for help, thus allowing the police to intervene promptly.

The man was stopped by officers, and the stolen goods were returned to their rightful owner. The arrest is part of measures taken to maintain order during festive events related to the Neapolitan soccer team.
