

Naples, the area of the attack
Naples – This morning, around 4:20 a.m., Carabinieri from the Naples Mobile Radio Unit responded to Pellegrini Hospital for an injured man. The victim has not been identified: he had no identification with him and, according to initial assessments, he may be of North African origin.
He suffered injuries to his back, right hand, and chest, likely caused by a bladed weapon. He underwent surgery and is not believed to be in life-threatening condition.
He is currently hospitalized. According to initial reports, the attack occurred in Vico Sopramuro Ave Gratia Plena. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the incident and identify the victim.
