In the photo, a detail of the story.
Yesterday morning, August 18, Carabinieri officers from the Gricignano di Aversa station arrested a woman under house arrest in flagrante delicto. The alleged crime was escape. The officers, engaged in a routine patrol of the area, noticed the woman outside her home in a car.
There was no authorization to leave the residence. At the time of the check, the car was being driven by a man residing in the Aversa countryside, who was immediately identified. According to investigators' reconstruction, the woman had left the place where the precautionary measure was being served without the required permission from the judicial authorities.
After the formal procedures, by order of the competent magistrate, the woman was returned to her home under house arrest. She will face charges in a fast-track trial. This operation is part of the Carabinieri's daily checks in the area, with particular attention to compliance with precautionary measures. The case is still in the preliminary investigation phase: the arrested person remains presumed innocent until a final conviction is issued.
