Naples: Five reported for illegally occupying public spaces on city beaches.

During a joint operation conducted by the State Police, the Port Authority, and the Naples Local Police, five people were reported for illegal occupation of state property and land invasion.

The project, carried out as part of the extraordinary services ordered by the Police Headquarters to address the increase in summer tourism, involved the state-owned areas of the beaches of Rotonda Diaz, Mergellina, Largo Sermoneta, and Donn'Anna.

Officers found individuals renting umbrellas, chairs, and other beach furniture without authorization, violating the Navigation Code. A total of 30 umbrellas, 8 deckchairs, 131 chairs, and 5 tables were seized.

Additionally, six administrative fines were issued for the illegal sale of food and beverages. This action is part of a series of targeted checks to combat illegal activities and activities on the city's coastline, ensuring order and safety for residents and tourists.
