Naples Weather August 15st
August 15th is marked by beautiful weather in Naples and much of Campania. The forecast for today, Saturday, August 15, 2026, calls for a day of clear skies and plenty of sunshine, ideal for those who have chosen the region's seaside resorts or for those spending the day outdoors.
In the Campania capital, the maximum temperature will reach around 33 degrees, while the minimum will remain around 27 degrees, thus still with fully summery conditions but slightly less intense than the heat peaks of the previous days.
Sea conditions are also expected to be favorable. Along the Campania coast, the sea will be almost calm, while winds will blow lightly from the north in the early hours of the day, then shift to the south in the afternoon and reach moderate strength.
A particularly favorable situation, therefore, for the thousands of people expected on the beaches, in the coastal towns and on the islands of the Gulf.
The heat, however, will not abandon Campania. Especially in inland areas and on the plains, temperatures could remain high, with local highs between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.
Some changes may occur in the afternoon near the mountains, where increased cloud cover and some local showers or thunderstorms are possible. These are, however, limited, while the main coastal towns will be dominated by sunshine.
No significant precipitation is expected for Naples and the surrounding region today. The weather pattern will therefore remain stable on a day traditionally dedicated to day trips, outdoor lunches, and days at the beach.
Those who will spend many hours in the sun will still need to be careful of high temperatures, especially during the central hours of the day, favoring water, shaded areas and proper exposure to the sun.
However, mid-August also marks the final stage of the current very hot period. Forecasts indicate a possible change in the weather starting early next week, with the arrival of cooler air and a gradual drop in temperatures.
In Campania, according to available trends, the most noticeable drop in temperatures is expected between Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th, when the intense heat should gradually ease.
For today, then, there's still plenty of sun, sea, and warmth: Naples and Campania are preparing to experience a truly summery Ferragosto.
