Naples: Drug dealer caught working on Via Stadera

Naples – Carabinieri from the Poggioreale operational unit arrested Gianluca Comune, 48, already known to law enforcement, on charges of possession and trafficking of narcotics.

The man was caught red-handed on Via Stadera, immediately after selling a dose of cocaine to a customer in exchange for 20 euros. The police's timely operation allowed them to apprehend the dealer immediately after the transaction.

During the personal search, the Carabinieri found on the 48-year-old two additional doses of cocaine and €365 in cash, an amount believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity and therefore seized.

After the usual formalities, Comune was arrested and is now awaiting trial. Meanwhile, investigations continue to track down his suppliers, determine his customer base, and determine who he was dealing on.
