Naples, Badiashile undergoes medical and Favasuli officially arrives.

Napoli continues to strengthen their defense with two transfer deals completed in quick succession. Benoit Badiashile, a French defender of Congolese origins, landed in Ciampino last night and this morning traveled to Villa Stuart in Rome for the medical necessary to complete the transfer. Badiashile is expected to arrive from Chelsea on a loan with an option to buy, a deal that allows the Neapolitan club to test the player before a potential permanent purchase.

At the same time, Napoli announced the signing of Costantino Favasuli, a Calabrian defender born in 2004, with a statement published by president Aurelio De Laurentiis on social media. Favasuli arrives from Catanzaro on a temporary loan with an obligation to buy.

Having come through the Fiorentina youth academy, where he won a Super Cup and two Coppa Italia Primavera titles, he gained experience in Serie B with Ternana and Bari before moving to Catanzaro, where he made 42 appearances and scored two goals. The young defender also made his senior national team debut last June in a friendly win against Luxembourg.

These additions demonstrate Napoli's intent to strengthen their defense with players with both international experience and promising prospects, ahead of next season's challenges.
