Pozzuoli: €263 from the construction industry for schools and water supply after the earthquake.

Concrete aid for the city struck by the earthquake swarm. €263 was raised in just a few days for the Municipality of Pozzuoli through a spontaneous collection promoted by ACEN, Cassa Edile di Napoli, and Formedil Napoli. The funds will be used to repair four damaged schools and restore the water supply system, two priorities identified by the municipal administration after the July 31 earthquake.

The announcement was made during a meeting held at the Civil Protection headquarters in Pozzuoli, attended by Mayor Luigi Manzoni, ACEN President Antonio Savarese, Cassa Edile di Napoli President Rudy Girardi, and Formedil Napoli President Antonio Giustino.

The mayor expressed the city's thanks to the promoters and all the businesses that supported the initiative. "On behalf of the entire city, I express profound gratitude to all the associations, organizations, and businesses that have so generously supported this initiative. The donors' decision to support the repair of the four damaged schools and the water system repairs makes us particularly pleased, as it fully supports the policy direction identified by our administration: to focus every available resource on the safety of school buildings and the restoration of essential services. This is a concrete sign of support for the Pozzuoli community and an important example of collaboration between institutions, associations, and businesses."

In addition to ACEN, Ance Campania, Ance Caserta, Cassa Edile and Formedil of Caserta, the Integra Sinergo Consortium, and numerous companies in the Neapolitan construction sector also participated in the fundraiser, united by the goal of providing rapid support to the Phlegraean Fields population.

"This initiative is in keeping with the spirit of our associations and businesses. For us, participation and social, as well as economic, contribution to community development are a duty. As the ANCE system, together with businesses, bilateral organizations, and construction unions, we feel compelled to offer support to the Phlegraean Fields community, so severely affected, through interventions on damaged schools and for the restoration of the water network, which ensures an essential service, especially at a delicate time like this," stated ACEN President Antonio Savarese.
