An incident of domestic violence was prevented this morning in Solofra, in the province of Avellino, thanks to the timely intervention of the Carabinieri. A 32-year-old man, resident in Irpinia, broke down the front door of his ex-girlfriend's home with the intent of attacking her new partner.
Luckily, the 42-year-old had an anti-stalker device with her, which she immediately activated, alerting law enforcement. Within minutes, a patrol arrived on the scene and arrested the attacker, who was reported for stalking, criminal damage, battery, and trespassing.
The timely intervention prevented more serious consequences and highlights the importance of personal protective equipment in risky situations.
