He stole an electric bicycle and attempted to escape, but the owner noticed the theft and chased him until the police arrived. The incident occurred in Torre Annunziata, where a 29-year-old with a criminal record was arrested for aggravated theft.

The incident occurred yesterday morning along Corso Umberto. An officer from the Torre Annunziata Police Station, off duty, noticed a man chasing another person on an electric bicycle, which he reported had just been stolen.

The police officer immediately intervened and, with the support of the officers from the local police station, managed to reach and arrest the alleged perpetrator.

The investigations allowed the reconstruction of the incident: the bicycle had been stolen shortly before by the 29-year-old, while the person chasing him was the vehicle's legal owner. After the investigation, the man was arrested for aggravated theft. The e-bike was returned to its owner.
