Before kickoff of the league match against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium, the mood of mourning was not unanimous in the stands: while most of the crowd applauded the tribute, some organized fans openly chose to break away.

In the heart of the Curva Sud, several supporters turned their backs on the pitch for the entire duration of the tribute, while other groups sang chants dedicated to Gaetano Scirea and Gianni Agnelli. This behavior did not go unnoticed by the federal inspectors present at the Turin stadium, who detailed the incident in the reports submitted to the Sports Judge in the past few hours.

The facts could constitute "generalized contempt" for unsportsmanlike reasons. The Code of Sports Justice provides for graduated sanctions for these incidents: from a fine of up to €50 to the closure of the entire stand for one match. If the Curva Sud were to be closed, the Bianconeri would face their home match on October 18th against Lazio without the support of their organized groups.

Among the possible scenarios being considered by the sports justice system is the opening of the stadium to protected groups, allowing free admission to families and young people from local soccer schools to avoid empty stands. Before a final verdict, the Federal Prosecutor's Office may request a further investigation to more precisely define the roles and dynamics.

In response to the incident, Juventus immediately took a firm stance with an official statement: "No rivalry can justify disrespect during a minute of silence. Honoring the memory and uniting in remembrance during moments of commemoration represents a shared responsibility that transcends affiliations and colors."
