The rifle seized in Forcella
Naples - A ready-to-use rifle is further evidence of the criminal activity that has recently been seen in the alleys of Naples' historic center.
And yesterday, in fact, during the extraordinary operations organized by the Naples Police Headquarters to combat the phenomenon of illegal possession of weapons, the Hawks of the Flying Squad carried out an inspection in the Forcella district.
And they found, hidden behind a telecommunications network column, a case containing a 12-gauge shotgun with no visible serial number and three cartridges of the same caliber.
Investigations are now aimed at tracing the users of that weapon, which has since been sent to the forensic section, which will have to establish whether it was used in recent bloody incidents.
In the meantime, public and private cameras in the area are being examined to see if any suspicious movements are being observed around the telecommunications column.
