A parent from Ercolano recounts his daily train journeys with his severely autistic son, denouncing the lack of public or licensed cognitive-behavioral therapy centers in Naples and the surrounding province, and requesting a minibus or a supervised transportation service.

It's a case of daily healthcare mobility: a parent from Ercolano accompanies her son, who suffers from severe autism spectrum disorder, to the Anffas rehabilitation center in Salerno every morning, traveling over 50 kilometers on regional trains.
The father reports the lack of public or licensed centers in the Naples area and province that can provide individualized cognitive-behavioral therapy (such as evidence-based methodologies and ABA).
She is asking the Campania Region to immediately activate a specially equipped van or a protected transport service. For the family, the Salerno facility represents the only option for access to care and inclusion, but therapy becomes a daily logistical and psychological barrier.
The parent also testifies to the need for regional intervention to prevent forced medical emigration to Pontecagnano.
