A 36-year-old man with a criminal record was arrested last night by State Police in San Giuseppe Vesuviano after a lengthy pursuit. The operation revealed driving and insurance violations.

Yesterday evening, the State Police intervened in the municipality of San Giuseppe Vesuviano where a car, speeding during a checkpoint, triggered a pursuit that involved several patrols in the area.
The operation required reinforcements from the police stations in Nola, Pompei, and Torre Annunziata. The vehicle was located in Palma Campania, where it stopped after hitting a guardrail; the driver was then apprehended by officers.
Subsequent checks revealed that the vehicle was uninsured and that the driver did not have a driving license. For these reasons, the suspect, a 36-year-old with a criminal record, was arrested by the officers.
