De Laurentiis honored by the foreign press with a "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his time with Napoli.

Aurelio De Laurentiis received the Foreign Press Lifetime Achievement Sports Award. The award was presented today in Rome, at the headquarters of the Foreign Press Association in Italy, Palazzo Grazioli, as part of the historic Sports Award, organized for over thirty years by accredited foreign journalists in our country.

The ceremony celebrated the SSC Napoli president's career in Italian and international football, with particular attention to his sporting achievements and the work he has done to promote the club and the city of Naples on the international stage.

The Foreign Press Sports Award is awarded every year to protagonists of Italian sport who have distinguished themselves in various disciplines and to personalities capable of promoting, through sport, initiatives of importance on a social, educational and cultural level.

With this lifetime achievement award, the Foreign Press sought to highlight De Laurentiis's role in football and a career characterized, according to the award's motivations, by outstanding results, managerial ability, and a focus on Napoli's international presence.

At the end of the ceremony, the Italian president answered questions from foreign press journalists, retracing some moments from his long experience in cinema and sport.

De Laurentiis also spoke about his history at the helm of Napoli and current football events, during a meeting that accompanied the presentation of an award honoring his professional career and his work in the world of sport.
