Drug bust on the Caserta coast: over 2 kg of hashish and marijuana seized, two arrests

Mondragone – More than two kilos of hashish and marijuana, with an estimated street value of over €30, were seized by the Guardia di Finanza in Mondragone, on the Caserta coast. The operation, conducted on September 29, led to the arrest of two people.

Control over Domitian

It all started when finance officers from the Mondragone Company stopped a car on Via Domiziana. Canine units from the Aversa Emergency Service were also present at the checkpoint. The drug-sniffing dogs' keen sense of smell allowed them to discover that the driver was hiding five blocks of hashish on his person, weighing a total of more than 500 grams.

The house search

The investigation continued at the man's home, where officers found another person and a bag containing 1,4 kilos of hashish and marijuana. The drugs were also packed with everything needed for packaging and retail sale:
a precision balance
a marijuana grinder
smart filters
a sealing machine
vacuum bags

At the end of the operation, both the driver and the man found in the house were arrested. The drugs and paraphernalia were seized.
