Frignano – Moments of terror occurred yesterday afternoon on Via Diogene, where a minor was attacked and pushed into the bushes by a man. The worst was averted by the courageous intervention of a passerby, whose report prompted the immediate mobilization of the Carabinieri.

Officers from the Frignano Station responded to the scene, along with colleagues from the Aversa Company's Mobile Radio Section. Thanks to their rapid response, the officers apprehended and arrested the alleged perpetrator: a 27-year-old Bangladeshi man, now a serious suspect in the crime of sexual assault.

Subsequent investigations revealed an even more disturbing picture. The suspect, in fact, appears to be the same perpetrator of a similar incident that occurred just the day before in Casal di Principe, where he attempted to break into a woman's home to attack her, but was chased away by the victim's reaction.

Following the formal procedures, the 27-year-old was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities. This operation underscores the importance of civic cooperation and the Carabinieri's readiness to patrol the area to protect the most vulnerable, respecting the suspect's presumption of innocence until a final sentence is reached.
