Miano, modified pistol hidden in the wall: it was ready to fire

Naples – A gun hidden in a hole in a wall near the road in the Miano area was found and seized by Naples local police. The discovery was made by Judicial Police personnel from the Secondigliano Operational Unit during investigations conducted across the entire area.

It's a Bruni Model 92 8mm caliber pistol, originally a blank-firing pistol, which was apparently modified to fire live ammunition. This detail, according to investigators, makes the find particularly significant.

The seizure is significant in light of the recent incidents of shootings and ambushes reported in the area in recent days, which are currently being investigated by law enforcement. In an area marked by tension and incidents of ambushes and injuries, the presence of a ready-to-use weapon hidden in a nearby hideout fuels investigative speculation about tensions between criminal groups.
