Naples: A flurry of checks in Vomero, Arenella, and Posillipo

During an extraordinary territorial control operation ordered by the Naples Police Headquarters, officers from the Arenella Police Station—with the crucial support of the Local Police and staff from the ASL NA 1 Centro—scrubbed 10 commercial establishments in the hilly neighborhoods.

The operation revealed several irregularities that led to immediate action:

• 2 warnings issued to owners for non-compliant SCIA and failure to comply with current regulations.
  Three businesses were fined for serious health and hygiene violations, lack of noise permits, and illegal occupation of public land.

Over 3.000 euros in administrative fines imposed by the departments involved.
Seven violations of the Highway Code were contested for parking in the area affected by the checks.

Posillipo and Via Petrarca: checkpoints and identification

Urban prevention and monitoring activities have also extended to the coastal area, focusing in particular on the Via Petrarca area. Here, the joint action of officers from the Posillipo Police Station and Carabinieri, supported by the Local Police, has helped raise the perceived level of safety through checkpoints and targeted checks.

The evening's intervention highlights an intense identification activity:

• 46 people identified, 6 of whom have a criminal record.
  30 vehicles were checked during dynamic checks along the scenic road.
  1 Highway Code fine issued for traffic violations.
