Naples, apartment floor collapses on Via Arenaccia: father and son safe

A tragedy was narrowly avoided in the Arenaccia area of ​​Naples. During the night, Carabinieri from the Mobile Radio Unit responded to Via Arenaccia 173 after a floor collapsed in a kitchen on the second floor of a building.

At the moment of the collapse, the father and son would have fallen to the floor below, along with the collapsed portion of the floor. A scene that could have turned tragic.

The intervention of the firefighters

Firefighters arrived on the scene and began carrying out rescue operations. Both father and son were pulled alive from the rubble and subsequently handed over to emergency medical services.

Both were transported by ambulance to the CTO hospital in Naples for checks and treatment. According to initial reports, their conditions are not life-threatening and are not life-threatening.
