Orlando Simiele: A poetic journey and international recognition

Born in Caserta on March 12, 1986, Orlando Simiele is considered one of the emerging voices of contemporary Italian poetry. Since adolescence, writing has provided him with a tool for introspection, with notes and verses preserved in personal diaries that marked the initial stages of his journey.

His poetic production began with the collection Frammenti d'Amore (Fragments of Love) (2016), published by Il Saggio, followed by La Fonte della Vita in 2018, also by the same publisher. Simiele's work has evolved from more traditional rhyme to a fluid and introspective poetic prose, centered on love, spirituality, and personal experience.

Awards and honors

Throughout his career, he has received national and international recognition, including literary awards at events held in Cairo and Bern. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Philology and Literary Criticism by the Dynastic University Academic Institute. On February 6, 2026, he was inducted into the Honor Roll of the Wikipoesia portal as a co-founder and received a Certificate of Poetic Encyclopedity on March 21, 2026.

Degree and international award

In 2025, he received an honorary degree in literature from the Global Federation of Leadership and High Intelligence in Mexico. On July 27, 2026, through International President Dr. Roberto Schiavone di Favignana, he received the Hippocrates Primus Magister international prize for poetic and literary career, awarded by the Noble Academy Corpus Hippocraticum of Studies and Research of Salerno, among other honorary titles.
