Four arrests in Nocera after car dealership shooting

Nocera – Four people were arrested at dawn by Carabinieri from the Nocera Inferiore Operations and Mobile Unit. They will be charged with carrying a war weapon and related ammunition in a public place.

Three were placed in pre-trial detention; the fourth was placed under house arrest with an electronic monitoring device. The investigation, coordinated by the Nocera Inferiore Public Prosecutor's Office, reconstructs an incident that occurred in Corbara on February 23, 2025.

That evening, according to investigators, the suspects fired at least 26 shots with a war weapon at a car dealership. One of the arrested men—already under house arrest at the time—is believed to have planned and coordinated the intimidation.

Investigators believe the attack was motivated by personal resentment toward the victim, linked to romantic motives. During today's operation, officers seized cash and over a kilogram of marijuana. A Kalashnikov shell casing was also found.
