During the Blind Audition of The Voice of Germany 2026, Francesco and Simone Capriglione, Carmen Scognamiglio, and Antonella Parmentola performed a personal version of Caruso, intertwined with the theme music from The Gladiator, receiving applause and a standing ovation from the German audience.

The performance immediately highlighted the stylistic signature of the band, born in Naples and developed through years of laboratory work. All four seats turned, offering the quartet the chance to choose their team.

Nico Santos used his ban on Shirin David, preventing the coach from accepting Soul-Food Vocalists into her team. This move changed the balance of the final selection process and paved the way for a consensus decision among the four singers.

Furthermore, for the first time in sixteen seasons of The Voice of Germany, the artists were asked to perform an encore: SFV performed Caruso in its entirety, once again receiving a standing ovation.

Ultimately, the four Neapolitans chose Nico Santos as their coach for the German adventure. The move to the next stage, the Battles, marks the beginning of a new challenge within the same team: duels between two singers from the same lineup, with performances based on the same song, with the coach deciding who will move on.

The starting point remains Naples, Pompeii, and Castellammare di Stabia: the story of SFV is indeed that of a group that has succeeded in bringing to the international scene a language developed in Italian and foreign contexts, with the Apollo Theatre in New York among its international experiences and the final of The Voice Generations with Gigi D'Alessio's team among its previous steps.

Now their attention turns to the Battles, where they'll have to defend their voices within Santos's team.
