The Italian State Police is launching a week of awareness campaigns in schools to prevent online violence and promote responsible use of social media.

Cyberbullying and digital safety take center stage: Una Vita da Social's Action Week arrives in schools.
As part of the 14th edition of the State Police's traveling educational campaign, entitled "A Life on Social Media," Action Week is launching. This initiative aims to combat cyberbullying through direct interventions in schools and youth centers. The initiative, promoted by the Postal Police, aims to reach a large number of students with awareness-raising and prevention activities.
The event is scheduled to begin on September 28th in Rome, in response to recent incidents of violence in schools. During the events, professionals from the Specialty will be present to offer opportunities for discussion and in-depth analysis on issues related to the use of communication platforms and social networks.
Topics covered include the use of weapons, bullying, cyberbullying, sextortion, non-consensual dissemination of intimate images or videos, and other forms of online violence and abuse. The risks associated with technological developments will also be explored, with helpful tips for safer and more informed use of digital tools.
The initiative will continue in the coming months with the aim of bringing this message to thousands of young people, strengthening the dialogue on digital safety and helping to shape tomorrow's adults to be more aware and responsible online.
