Torre Annunziata: 113 students lead tours of the Villa Poppea during an Open Day at Oplontis.

The Oplontis Archaeological Park hosts the Oplontis Weekend, the closing event of the Citizens of Oplontis and Digital Storytellers project. In this public preview, 113 first- and second-year students from the Pitagora-Croce High School will welcome visitors and lead an interactive tour of the site, offering a perspective developed by the young people themselves.

The activities will take place on Friday from 15:00 PM to 17:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Admission is free during both times, allowing the public to explore the villa and engage directly with the young storytellers. The project is promoted by Storie Campane APS as the lead partner, together with Piccoli Passi Grandi Sogni APS, Pase APS, ART 33, and Trees for Naples. It is co-financed by the Campania Region and implemented in collaboration with the Pompeii Archaeological Park.

Those involved include the principal of the Pitagora-Croce High School, Olimpia MT Savarese, and the staff and teachers involved in the project. The initiative enhances interaction between the public and the student storytellers, offering an educational and participatory experience of the site.
