Naples – Gino Sorbillo also encourages Alessandro Di Battista, with the two exchanging messages on social media.

Among the messages of encouragement for Di Battista were those from Gino Sorbillo, a well-known Neapolitan pizza chef, who responded to them from the former Five Star Movement MP, who was hospitalized in Cuba after falling ill.

"Come on, Ale, don't give up," Sorbillo wrote on Instagram, with a series of four-leaf clover and heart emoticons. "I need it," Di Battista replied from the hospital in Havana where he's being treated, promising, "I'll come visit you soon," accompanied by a photo of a tray with a plate of chicken and rice.

"Get well soon, so we can celebrate with a super pizza party and invite practically everyone to the historic center of Naples," the restaurateur wrote. "Free pizza, Neapolitan cuisine, and good wine for everyone to forget and make others forget this terrible scare we had yesterday. We were very, very scared for you, Ale, it was terrible. We were very apprehensive, what was happening to you didn't seem real."
