Arzano says no to racketeering: Edil Mele signs a pact with SOS Impresa Campania.

A new and significant anti-racketeering memorandum of understanding was signed this morning in Arzano, at Via Bari 21, involving the Edil Mele Srls company and the SOS Impresa Campania APS association.

The agreement was signed by SOS Impresa Campania president Anna Ferrara, association director Antonio Chiariotti, and entrepreneur Armando Mele. It was a moment of great institutional and social significance, highlighted by the presence of law enforcement officials: the commander of the Casoria Carabinieri Company, Captain Valentina Bianchin, the commander of the Arzano Carabinieri Station, Raimondo Semprevivo, and the commander of the local police, Luigi Maiello.

A network that expands north of Naples

The initiative is part of a growing trend in the province of Naples, where the anti-racketeering association has seen a significant increase in membership requests, particularly in the area north of Naples. More and more entrepreneurs are choosing to reject the Camorra's intimidation, extortion, and pressure, relying on a structured network of solidarity and legal and moral support.

"Joining the anti-racketeering pact is free and voluntary: you simply submit a request and, after the association's investigation, you sign it," stated Anna Ferrara. "With the pact, entrepreneurs enter into a solidarity agreement with SOS Impresa and can count on concrete support in the event of any intimidation or extortion attempts. Our commitment is to ensure that no one faces the Camorra's blackmail alone."

The importance of synergy between institutions and the territory

The participation of the military and local police forces in the signing ceremony testifies to the effectiveness of the collaborative model between associations, the productive sector, and state agencies, considered fundamental to the effective prevention and fight against economic and predatory crime.

"Every new member strengthens the entire network," concluded President Ferrara, appealing to local businesses to ensure that Armando Mele's courageous decision becomes a model for freeing the region from the yoke of crime.
