Autistic boy falls from terrace in Pozzuoli and dies

Pozzuoli – A tragedy shrouded in doubt and grief. The mother of Roslan, a 24-year-old man with autism, is officially requesting full clarification of the circumstances surrounding her son's death, which occurred after he fell from the terrace of a psychiatric rehabilitation center in Monterusciello, a hamlet of Pozzuoli.

The events occurred yesterday. The Judiciary has already ordered an autopsy on the young man's body to determine the cause of death. Although initial findings point to a possible deliberate act, several questions remain regarding the circumstances of the events.

Sergio Pisani, the woman's lawyer, is the family's representative, expressing their grief and concerns. The crux of the matter concerns the presence and effectiveness of surveillance measures within the rehabilitation facility.

“The mother wonders how it was possible that her son was left alone,” explains lawyer Pisani, “considering that the boy was entrusted to dedicated personal therapists both during the day and at night.”

"Our goal is to obtain clear answers and ensure that every relevant element is examined in depth by the competent authorities. The circumstances of the incident and the information provided by the mother regarding the organization of the guardianship service remain to be clarified in particular."
