Bacoli – A 40-year-old man, Ernesto Sansone, was arrested by Carabinieri from the Bacoli station as part of a local anti-gang operation. The man, Ernesto Sansone, a Neapolitan born in 1985, allegedly fled during a police check while, according to investigators, he was selling drugs to several customers.
After conducting investigations, the Carabinieri were able to trace the 40-year-old's hideout to an apartment in Varcaturo, a hamlet of Giugliano in Campania. Inside the apartment, officers found and seized 750 grams of cocaine, 31 grams of marijuana, and 52 grams of hashish.
The officers also identified a ledger, believed to be potentially useful for reconstructing the illicit activity and drug-related movements. The seized material has been made available to the judicial authorities.
Sansone was arrested and transferred to the prison. The investigation continued by the Carabinieri of the Bacoli station to determine whether other individuals were involved and the actual destination of the seized drugs.
