Casal di Principe: 60-year-old man reported for abandoning bulky waste on the street

He dumped bulky waste on a public street, but cameras caught him, allowing officers to trace his identity. It happened in Casal di Principe, in the province of Caserta, where a 60-year-old man, identified by the initials TN, was reported by the local police.

The images from the video surveillance system were crucial and were analyzed by officers to reconstruct the incident and identify the person suspected of illegally abandoning the materials.

The operation was conducted by the Local Police, led by Commander Ettore De Simone, as part of their territorial control services and efforts to combat behaviors that compromise environmental protection and urban decorum.

The incident is part of a broader monitoring effort in Casal di Principe, a region within the Land of Fires (Terra dei Fuochi), where indiscriminate waste dumping is a problem requiring targeted inspections and interventions.

The Local Police will continue their investigations to identify any additional perpetrators and prevent further incidents, with the aim of protecting public spaces and promoting respect for the environment. The reported man's position will be assessed by the appropriate authorities, respecting the presumption of innocence until a final conviction.
