Ten tons of waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, were discovered in a workshop in Marcianise. The operation led to the seizure of the area and 16 heavy vehicles, along with €20.000 in fines and two citations.

During a coordinated inspection by the Carabinieri of the Marcianise Station and the Forestry Department, a waste dump was discovered inside a workshop specializing in the inspection and repair of heavy vehicles. Approximately 10 tons of waste, including hazardous and non-hazardous, were found to be accumulated in the area.
Following the investigation, two individuals, the company's administrator and de facto manager, were charged with unauthorized waste management, uncontrolled storage, and the illegal mixing of special and non-hazardous waste.
The entire company was seized, along with the waste and 16 heavy vehicles parked in the area awaiting repairs. Administrative fines amount to €20.000, including failure to maintain or incomplete records of loading and unloading and failure to register with the waste oil consortium.
The results of the investigation have been forwarded to the competent judicial authority. The status of the two suspects will be assessed during subsequent investigations, respecting the presumption of innocence.
