Naples: Threats to medical staff at the Ospedale del Mare: Three women reported

Naples – Yet another episode of tension and threats has erupted within the Ospedale del Mare hospital. Three women, aged 64, 60, and 19, have been reported for threatening healthcare workers.

According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the three protested about the waiting times at the emergency room, going so far as to threaten a doctor.

This incident is part of a series of checks carried out to prevent and combat aggressive behavior toward healthcare workers, who often face high-pressure situations in emergency rooms.
