Terzigno presents its new Pro Loco youth organization.

In Nola, the Pro Loco Terzigno is recognized for its recent establishment and its synergies with cultural institutions and projects. The regional assembly celebrates its commitment to promoting local identity and tourism.

Terzigno confirms its role as a key player in Campania's upcoming tourism season thanks to its recently established local Pro Loco (tourist association), already at the center of a collaborative effort with institutions and local communities. The occasion arose from the Regional Assembly of Campania's Pro Loco associations, held this morning at the Mastrilli Archaeological Park in Nola (Naples). The meeting was attended by Mayor Salvatore Carillo, President of the Terzigno Pro Loco Francesco Ambrosio, and Vice President Francesco Servino, along with other prominent institutional representatives.

A leading delegation from the association world was also present: Luigi Barbati, regional president of the National Union of Pro Loco of Italy (UNPLI), Claudio Napolitano, provincial president of UNPLI Naples, and the Honorable Giovanni Mensorio, regional councilor and president of the Third Council Committee responsible for tourism. The participants expressed appreciation for the activities of the Pro Loco Terzigno, established a few months ago, as well as for the synergy established with local institutions.

The discussion revealed support for the Pro Loco's efforts, with Carillo emphasizing the importance of a network capable of transforming ideas into concrete projects. The administration renewed its commitment to supporting these organizations as an integral part of the city's growth.

The focus of the meeting was the program guidelines and development prospects of Pro Loco organizations, with a strong focus on tourism and the promotion of local identities. Mensorio outlined the new regional legislation that strengthens the role of Pro Loco organizations as key players in promoting local areas, emphasizing their goal of providing tools and opportunities to contribute to the tourism and cultural development of communities. Terzigno was cited as a positive example of synergy between the local area, associations, and institutions.

Among the ongoing projects of the Pro Loco Terzigno, the permanent exhibition "The Giant's Breath" stands out. It is dedicated to the 20th-century eruptions of Vesuvius and Pompeii Airfield, the military airport used during World War II. This initiative enriches the city's cultural offerings and promises to be a new attraction for those interested in learning about the history of the Vesuvius area.

Vice President Servino thanked the UNPLI leadership and the mayor for their institutional support, outlining the future goals: a modern and dynamic Pro Loco, capable of combining territorial marketing, tourism, and the valorization of local resources, using innovative tools and opportunities offered by calls for proposals to become a point of reference for accommodation facilities, associations, and operators committed to promoting Terzigno.
