Napoli regained their winning ways with a resounding 3-0 victory over Frosinone at the Maradona Stadium. The night ended with a brace from Kevin De Bruyne and a goal from Noa Lang.
Allegri's team started strong and came very close to taking the lead in the fourth minute: Rasmus Hojlund received the ball in the box and hit the post with a shot that shook the visiting defense. Frosinone tried to respond, but Napoli continued to search for space and in the 25th minute won a penalty through Hojlund, who did well to control Spinazzola's pass and was fouled in the box.
The Danish striker's penalty shot, saved by Palmisani in the 28th minute, was retaken because the goalkeeper had both feet over the line. Hojlund then passed the ball to De Bruyne, who made no mistake in the 29th minute, putting the Azzurri ahead.
Four minutes later, Napoli doubled their lead. Hojlund shielded the ball and played it to Di Lorenzo, whose shot was parried by Palmisani. Noa Lang pounced on the rebound, making it 2-0 from close range. Napoli also came close to making it three before halftime, with Neres firing just wide after a counterattack in the 42nd minute.
In the second half, Frosinone attempted to get back into the game. Ghedjemis fired wide in the 57th minute, while Raimondo missed the target with a header two minutes later. In the 68th minute, Meret kept a clean sheet from Schmid's shot.
Allegri made a series of substitutions, bringing on Lucca and McTominay, then Gilmour and Giovane. Giovane took center stage in the 74th minute, playing an interesting ball to McTominay, whose shot was parried by Palmisani.
Frosinone failed to find the net that would have reopened the match, and the final blow came in stoppage time. In the 94th minute, Giovane found De Bruyne alone in the penalty area: the Belgian controlled the situation and sealed the 3-0 win, completing his brace and capping a crucial night for Napoli.
At the final whistle, Maradona celebrated a convincing victory, built on an incisive attack and sealed in the closing stages. For the Azzurri, it's a victory that restores confidence and allows them to look forward to their upcoming matches with greater serenity.
