Arzano, widespread checks in shops: fines and seizures

Tight controls are being implemented in the Arzano area, where in recent days the Carabinieri have intensified checks on commercial businesses, with a particular focus on compliance with labor regulations, legality in the betting sector, and the protection of public health.

The operation involved the military of the local Carabinieri station, coordinated by Commander Raimondo Semprevivo, supported by specialized units of the force, including the Nil and the NAS, for a series of targeted investigations inside commercial establishments.

Undeclared workers and illegal betting

During the investigations, irregularities were found regarding the employment of workers, with the presence of personnel employed illegally being contested.

The investigations also involved the betting sector, where the police identified an illegal betting operation, triggering the measures required by law.

NAS intervention on food safety

Particular attention was also paid to protecting public health. During an inspection, the owner of a commercial establishment was found to be selling animal products, particularly meat, in poor condition.

This investigation brings to the forefront the issue of controls on proper food storage and the safety of products intended for consumers.

The areas affected by the checks

The inspections covered several areas of Arzano, including Via Napoli, Piazza Cimmino, and Via Raffaele Aruta, with checks primarily targeting commercial activities in the areas.

The operation is part of a broader prevention and control effort aimed at identifying and combating irregularities, both administratively and in terms of protecting workers and citizens' health.
