Naples – A car ended up in a five-meter sinkhole in the Materdei neighborhood of Naples. The driver was terrified, but fortunately escaped unharmed.

It happened last night in Vicolo della Neve, a neighborhood in Naples. The five-meter-diameter sinkhole, likely caused by storms and rain in the last few hours, suddenly opened onto the road, swallowing the car that was passing by at the time. The driver was a young man who was unharmed. Firefighters, officers from the Naples police headquarters, and local police arrived on the scene. The area was secured, and inspections were immediately initiated by technicians from the City of Naples.
