Drugs hidden in the car and over a thousand euros in cash. This is what State Police officers found during a check last night in Piazza Cavour, Naples, where a 34-year-old man was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics.
The check was carried out while the Nibbio officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue were conducting a patrol. The officers stopped a car carrying the 34-year-old, who, according to police, appeared impatient during the checks.
The investigation led to the discovery of €1.260, divided into banknotes of various denominations. A subsequent search of the vehicle allowed officers to locate approximately 540 grams of marijuana hidden inside the vehicle.
Following the investigation, the 34-year-old was arrested and handed over to the judicial authorities. He will now face charges of illegal possession of narcotics.
