One of the phases of the violent robbery
Naples – Images released by Green Party MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli depict a violent robbery five days ago in Fuorigrotta.
These images speak for themselves, showing how people's lives risk being worthless in the face of the intimidating force of weapons. As can be seen from the images, the robbery occurred at a minimarket on Via Leopardi, at number 98, in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood. The business owner, a 24-year-old man of Pakistani origin, was attacked and struck in the head with the butt of a gun during the attack.
One of the three bandits approached the cash register and, after striking the young man with the butt of his gun, took over the house and then pushed the young man again. The robbery lasted less than a minute. After taking the register, the three men fled, disappearing without a trace.
Carabinieri from the Naples Mobile Radio Unit and the Bagnoli Police Department responded to the scene, alerted to the robbery. The injured 24-year-old was taken to San Paolo Hospital, where he was taken into the care of paramedics.
