The 34th edition of the main international fair of the world cruise market, Seatrade Cruise Global, has just ended in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The fair hosted about 700 exhibitors from 110 countries, and registered the presence of about 11 thousand exhibitors. The Adsp of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea was present inside the Assoporti stand, which for some years now – with the claim “Cruise Italy” – represents the 15 Italian Adsp: a 250 mXNUMX stand where each Authority with personalized exhibition desks, promoted its ports, without losing sight of the goal of presenting itself to operators as a country system. The Secretary General Francesco Messineo was present on behalf of the Adsp of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea, with a large and qualified delegation of the main cruise operators of the ports of Naples and Salerno. The new projects of the two Campania ports were presented, as well as that of the port of Castellammare di Stabia, the smallest of the Adsp ports intended for mega and giga yachts, but where even small cruise ships can dock. New possible tours were also identified and presented for the companies that dock in our ports, also following the evaluations made by the destination managers who participated in the Fam trip organized in Naples last February, and which will certainly be repeated, to show the representatives of other companies the tourist attractions of all three ports of the Adsp of the Mtc. Numerous meetings were held by our delegation: the Consul Gloria Marina Bellelli (photo in the previous email), and the main representatives of the companies (Pierfrancesco Vago Executive Chairmen Msc Cruises, Bill Sharp Vice President Holland America, Remco Buis of Carnival, Neil Duncan and Jacqui Nobili, respectively General Manager and Port and Shore excursion Operation Manager of TUI, Christine Manjencic, General Manager, DestinationService Operations of Norwegian Cruise Line.
