Snow on the mountains above 2.400 meters, rain in the valley and falling temperatures throughout Trentino Alto Adige. The expected disturbance has arrived on time also in the northernmost region of Italy where summer is now over. At 2.757 meters of the Stelvio Pass it is snowing, the temperature is two degrees below zero and winter equipment is necessary. Snow also covers the road to reach the 2.474 meters of the Rombo Pass. In Switzerland, several passes in the Canton of Grisons are also reported to be snowy, from Umbrail to Forno, from Forcola di Livigno to Bernina.
