Naples, steals offerings to San Gennaro from the Cathedral: migrant stopped and reported

The police officers, during their normal territorial control service, were alerted by the operations center, as a man intent on stealing had been stopped inside the “Duomo”. As soon as they arrived on site, the officers confirmed from the images of the Cathedral cameras, that the man had climbed over the balustrade around the crypt, where the relics of San Gennaro are kept, and began to take the offerings from the floor, which the faithful usually place in his honor. The man was reported at liberty.
