Naples, Colombian drug trafficker arrested, accomplice of Buonerba clan

Naples. Colombian drug trafficker arrested after 17 years of being a fugitive: he must serve 12 years in prison.

He was in Naples to get international drug trafficking back on its feet, Antony De Avila Charris, a Colombian, 58 years old, a fugitive for 17 years after being sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2004. The South American drug trafficker was identified and arrested in Naples by investigators from the Vicaria Mercato police station. He was in fact subject to an order of imprisonment issued by the Criminal Enforcement Office of the Naples Prosecutor's Office. He had been sentenced to 12 years in prison for association aimed at illicit drug trafficking in collaboration with alleged members of the Buonerba Camorra family. These facts were ascertained by investigators from the DDA in 2001 and committed between the provinces of Naples and Genoa.
