Qualiano, Marco Bevilacqua had thrown weapons and clothes in the garbage bin under his house

Qualiano. Marco Bevilacqua hid in his parents' home in Giugliano after firing several shots at patrons of the Nirvana Spritz bar on Via Fratelli Rosselli in the center of Qualiano, wounding four young people (one of whom remains in serious condition and is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries).

However, the Carabinieri of the Giugliano Operations Unit and the Qualiano station quickly identified, tracked down, and arrested him, pursuant to a warrant issued by the North Naples Prosecutor's Office for attempted multiple homicide, aggravated robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm.

In a statement released this afternoon by the North Naples Prosecutor's Office , it is stated that some of the clothes Bevilacqua was wearing at the time of the gunshots were found in a rubbish bin not far from his parents' home.

Also found inside the dumpster was the knife that the 37-year-old allegedly used to steal the service pistol from a security guard who had stopped at a gas station.

The weapon was then allegedly used to injure the four young men outside the bar. The investigation was conducted by examining video footage recorded by surveillance systems in the area and by interviewing several witnesses.

Tomorrow morning, Bevilacqua , who is currently being held in Poggioreale prison in Naples, will be questioned by the investigating judge of the Naples North Court for preliminary hearings to validate his arrest. Yesterday, before prosecutor Giuseppe Vitolo , he exercised his right to remain silent.

Marco Bevilacqua will be questioned before the investigating judge of the North Naples district , Vera Iaselli , and his lawyer , Nunzio Mallardo , will be present . The man of Sinti origins has admitted to being the shooter.

Qualiano, the fight with the Di Palma brothers and the hospitalization

The ambush, according to what has been leaked so far, had a specific target: the two brothers, with whom he allegedly came into “contact” about fifteen days ago. To shed light on this circumstance, the Carabinieri of Giugliano in Campania are investigating, in particular, an alleged road accident during which the 37-year-old allegedly suffered injuries.

Investigators do not rule out that the wounds treated in the hospital are instead the result of a fight in which those young people also took part. But this is only a hypothesis that, at the moment, remains standing along with all the others.

Military investigations revealed that the Di Palma brothers (who have no criminal record) are the sons of a prominent local criminal, recently released from prison, believed by investigators to be linked to the De Rosa-Pianese clan of Qualiano.
