Napoli. Yesterday, as part of the services provided by the Police Headquarters Napoli in the “movida” areas, officers from the Decumani and Montecalvario Police Stations, finance officers from the Provincial Command of Naples, personnel from the Municipal Police – “Avvocata” Unit and the Metropolitan Police, with the support of the Mobile Unit, carried out checks in the historic center and in the Spanish neighborhoods.
During the operation, the officers of the Decumani Police Station in the historic center and in particular in the squares of San Domenico Maggiore and Bellini, in Piazzetta Nilo, in the streets Mezzocannone, Costantinopoli and dei Tribunali, in Vico Carrozzieri and in Largo Banchi Nuovi, identified 60 people, 2 of whom had a police record, and checked 3 commercial establishments and, in particular, fined the owner of a bar in Via Mezzocannone for having served alcoholic beverages to a minor under 18 years of age.
Furthermore, the police officers of the Montecalvario Police Station in the Spanish Quarters, in via Toledo, largo Baracche, via Speranzella, vico Lungo Teatro Nuovo, Augusteo station and largo Berlinguer identified 36 people, checked 2 commercial premises and removed 11 vehicles from no-parking areas.
Finally, the officers of the San Ferdinando Police Station and the Carabinieri carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the area of the beaches and rocks of Mergellina, in particular in the area that goes from Largo Sermoneta to Borgo dei Marinari, where 12 people were identified, one of whom had a criminal record, while the police officers of the Posillipo Police Station and the financial police of the Provincial Command of Naples and the Naval Air Operations Department checked the Marechiaro area where they identified 81 people and contested 2 violations of the Highway Code for failure to stop at a checkpoint and for failure to present the circulation documents.
