Giugliano, 79-year-old man found with smashed skull in Lago Patria

Giugliano. The discovery of the lifeless body of a 79-year-old man last night in Lago Patria, a hamlet of Giugliano in Campania, is shrouded in mystery.

The body had a head wound. The discovery was made on Via Staffetta, in the driveway of a park . State Police officers from the Giugliano Police Station responded to the scene and began an investigation.

The coroner together with the magistrate on duty of the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North present on site have carried out an initial inspection. They are trying to establish the exact causes of death.

The hypothesis is that he was killed with a shot to the head from close range. It is not excluded that it was a ropina gone wrong
