Arzano mourns Domenico Bianco, 45, son of Carmine, former DC mayor of the city in recent years, who died following a collision between his motorbike and a car along the Domiziana state road.
The accident occurred in the Cellole area at 16:30 PM two days ago. Bianco was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when, for reasons still under investigation, he collided with a Fiat 500.
The impact was extremely violent and Bianco, who was traveling alone, suffered the worst consequences.
The 118 emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident and transported Bianco in red code to the emergency room of the Sessa Aurunca hospital.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff at San Rocco Hospital to save him, the man arrived in desperate conditions, with injuries too serious to be saved. Due to the deep wounds and damage to vital organs, Bianco died shortly after his arrival at the hospital.
The two people aboard the Fiat 500 were also injured and were admitted for observation at the Pinetta Grande Hospital in Castel Volturno. Authorities are working to clarify the dynamics of the accident.
On site, the necessary surveys were carried out to reconstruct the event. The investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Sessa Aurunca company, include the viewing of video surveillance cameras.
Furthermore, tests will be carried out on the body and the injured to detect any illnesses or the use of substances that could have compromised the driver's state of consciousness.
