Murder in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio: 19-Year-Old Killed in the Square

San Sebastiano al Vesuvio. The trail of bloodshed, involving young people, unfortunately continues. And last night, another young victim of urban violence. It happened in Piazza Raffaele Capasso in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio.

The toll is tragic: a 19-year-old from Volla dead and a peer injured. According to the initial reconstruction by the Carabinieri, there was a fight between gangs of young people that led to the death of the 19-year-old with no criminal record.

One of the participants in the fight suddenly pulled out a gun and fired shots at the boy. One hit a 19-year-old with no criminal record from Casoria in the chest, who died shortly after arriving at the emergency room of the Ospedale del Mare.

The other man injured a 19-year-old Neapolitan man in the elbow. He also had no criminal record and was taken to the hospital, but his condition is not in danger.

Investigations are underway that are analyzing public and private video surveillance images present in the area and have questioned the injured person and other witnesses.
