Antonio Maimone, father of Francesco Pio, has denounced the presence of some profiles on social media that offend the memory of his son and other innocent victims, such as Santo Romano or GiòGiò Cutolo.

“We cannot continue to see the memory of our children tarnished,” says Antonio. “Seeing their faces on social media next to those of their murderers is like insisting on a wound that is always open. I have sent everything to my lawyer to protect and defend our family.”

Fortunately, under the posts of these profiles there are many comments condemning the torturers and supporting the families of the victims.

“We need to close these profiles and investigate who runs them. The underworld makes proselytes through social media, finding fertile ground and malleable minds in the very young people of our city, increasingly fascinated by criminal life and weapons, as the sad news of recent months tells.
